Re: Installing and using the PS2 Swap Magic disc's
I finally got the swa magic and installed the fliptop. Problem is the disk isnt spinning. I re opened it and after some tests come to the conclusion that the fliptop isnt pressing down on the sensor next to the laser. Has anyone had this problem before? Tips on how to fix it?

Re: Installing and using the PS2 Swap Magic disc's
It's a known issue on the fat flip tops. It spins but there's nothing holding down the disc as it spins.
You see the black clips holding the white tab in? The disc goes between the laser and the white tab, the white tab is a magnet and holds the disc down so it doesn't go flying while spinning.
Anyway, on the lid, use pliers or something to take the black clips out. Then you can manually remove the white tab... thing and put it in. If you don't get that, I'll post pics.

Re: Installing and using the PS2 Swap Magic disc's
No no, its not that. See, problem was that it wasn't pressing down on the second sensor. I guess my top is faulty, the little plastic piece that is supposed to press down the sensor is misaligned. I had to put some cardboard in the game petween the plastics and taped it in real good so it hits the sensor when i close the lid normally. Thanks for the help though!
The disk stopper thing you mentioned i left alone as well. When i close the lid normally it opens fine and it never gets in the way for me so it doesn't really bother me.
I originally tried using the sticky tack clay to cover the sensor i was having trouble with but it wasn't working too well, so i switched to modding the flip top to work.
Thanks for the reply again.

Re: Installing and using the PS2 Swap Magic disc's
SO what's the difference between the MK2 shown at the beginning of this ofrum and using the Magic Key 3 from this picture? Tool B in the MK3 from the pic wont even work...yet the tool b for MK2 looks workable.
