    Nero is junk.
Use ImgBurn and a good disc. Verbatim DVD-R are best. Burn at 6 or 8X .I know a lot of people like to burn at 8x, but I haven't had any issues at 6.

You are using junk disks that is the problem.

Just F.Y.I. ImgBurn and DVDecrpter are the same thing, ImgBurn is just the newest version of the software.

When copying disks I leave the read speed at max (default) and the burn speed between 8-10x and don't get any problems unless the game needs special attention to get it working.

    Yep.
Also make sure you are burning at a "normal" speed (about half the max speed of the disk).

    YES.
Save yourself the frustration. Get some Verbatim DVD-R's.You're just wasting your time and discs.

DVD+R sometimes works, just make sure you set the booktype to DVDROM.
