Things we need to know before we can even begin to help you.

What type of PS2 do you have? Slim or fat.
What model of PS2? SCPH-XXXXX (not really needed but can clear up confusion)
What region PS2 do you have? PAL, NTSC U/C, NTSC J.
How do you boot your backups? Modchip (direct boot), Swap Magic (swap disk), or Softmod (FreeMCBoot, Memor32, ESR, Cogswap)
What game is it you are having trouble with?
What is the video signal of said game? NTSC, PAL.
