Thread: Do anyone think Final fantasy 10 a good RPG?

I personally liked the sphere grid system. Though in all honesty (might get shot for saying this), I found FFXII to be the best FF experience for me. FFX was medioker

FFX is really 1 of my top 3 Final Fantasy games! ;D i love it! :ClaP:

I think the old school FF games have a different feel. You actually grow into the characters and such. FFX was an EXTREMELY good game, not the same feel as the PS1 ones and such but awesome in every way. favorite ones in my opinion are FF7, FF9 even though i never finished it cause i lost my memory card while on the 3rd disk :( and FFX. I'm playing the FF4 remake on the DS and so far i love it, gives me that same feel the old PS1's did.
FF8's gameplay wasn't as fun, though i still plan on finishing it eventually... still a good game though, and good story, they all have good stories.
FFXII on the other hand, was kinda meh. Specially since the only thing you do most of the game is move the characters and they do everything on their own. And if you DO take control you get bored since you have to manually bring up the menu and stuff. :-\ And the story is too political, and too much like Star Wars'ish. Still not bad though, working on beating it as well.

edit: blitz ball was fun! :D and T D its possible to beat the Goers in the first game. Shows a different cutscene at the end, with your team winning the trophy and stuff.

Lol I know it is possible.
It's just really hard when the random number hates you... the main problem is keepa's rubbish CA. If it was higher then I'd win it every time.
And don't forget about the strength sphere you win.

OK HERES MY 2 CENTS:

PERSONALLY IVE PLAYED RPGS SINCE I WAS ABOUT 12(IM 27 NOW), OLD SCHOOL RPGS TEND TO FOCUS MORE ON THE STORYLINE AND EXPLORATION, NOT TO MENTION COMBAT WAS REALLY SIMPLE(PLAY DRAGON WARRIOR I AND YOULL GET THE PICTURE)
NEWER RPG FANS WHO HAVE ONLY PLAYED THE PSX OR PS2 RPGS TEND TO GET BORED BECAUSE THESE GAMES TEND TO FOCUS MORE ON GRAPHICS AND COMPLEX COMBAT SYSTEMS(THAT IS NOT A BAD THING THOUGH) ANYWAY, I THINK FFX WAS GOOD, IT DIDNT DISSAPOINT AS IT WAS THE FIRST FINAL FANTASY ON THE PS2, FFX-2 KINDA SUCKS, AND XII IS NOT BAD.

i think ff7 and ff3 are the best ffs. ff10 is good overall, but personally, i'm not a big fan of love stories too much :HmmM: i mean ff10's storyline gives the most emphasis on tidus and yuna(that is, in my opinion) and ffx-2 is not as good as well. ff8 and ff12's storyline, in my opinion,is not so good, but i think ff12's gameplay is good.

I have played many ff games. Imo always 1st.FFVII 2nd.FFX 3rd.FFVIII

I came acrosss the final fantasy series by chance, found final fantasy X it in a library knowing nothing about it and it blew my mind, better than any other **** that was out for the ps2 at the time after that I became a final fantasy junkie. I own every final fantay game there is and don't think I can name my favourite one became there all amazing in there own way. SQUARE ARE GODS!!!!

FF7,FF8,FF10, well FF12 was kinda off to me tho to tell the truth. i dont know if it was the storyline or gameplay, or if it was they whole gambit thing. But that one wasnt so great. but those are my fav for diff reasons. i like the junction thing for FF8 tho. even tho it was easy to get your strength maxed early in the game.

I absolutely LOVE Final Fantasy X. Its one of my favorite games. 1st. FFX 2. FFXII 3.FFVII
Yeah, I'm more the kind of the new generation RPGs. xD
