Thread: Do PS2 Slims had trouble with overheating since they don't have built-in fan in them?

    dude overheating doesn exist on ps2 slim
    over 15 hours daily without turning it off back in a day and it still works,when is really hot i play ps2 instead ps3

    I had mine (slim) since early 2006 and still functioning well to this date no overheating or
    lens issue.even i finished some games on one setting (MGS,SOTC,RE4)and never had any problem.

    yea...i use the slim with an external hdd ...thus preserving the laser...

    im from India...and its damn hot here....but the slim still does the job perfectly

    I've had a PS2 Slim since 2006 and it still works, the only problem I have is that after I play a game I need to wait 15-20 minutes so I can play another one.
