better backup method than swap magic?
I don't know why but my swap magic disks never seem to hold up. I've already had to buy 2 and I really would rather not have to buy another one. I was hoping there's just a "put your disk in and play" method without having to do anything else, I know I can do that with a mod chip but I don't know anything about them. What's an easier method for running backups nowadays? And is there a way to play psx backups on ps2 as well? I'm running a phat ps2

Try free McBoot... there are several methods once you install it. You already have swap magic so the only other thing you need is a memory card
