Thread: Will this hard drive work for PS2 modding?

I took apart my old computer recently (its from 2007, bought a new computer), and took its Hard Drive out. Its a 3.5" Sata Western Digital hard drive inside it. I only recently became aware of PS2 modding and the expansion bay, and the hard drive fits the bay, and I'm only missing a network port now.

Will my hard drive work for modding a PS2 and playing games off the hard drive?

No, you need a hard drive that hooks up through EIDE cables instead of sata, you may be able to find a converter or something.
