So guys which do you think?
cause i know nero can't burn certain things because of copyright stuff or whatever.
btw does it make a difference whether it burnt on a dvd-r or dvd+r?
thanks.

I would say its ImgBurn.
I burn backups with either media and i dont see a difference.
If you are asking about backups, I've used Nero a few times to burn ps2 games and it worked fine I prefer DVD Decrypter though.
If you are asking what I think you're asking, nothing can burn "original" ps2 games short of the software and burners that Sony uses themselves.

hmm but ive heard some people burning copies from originals before..but i dnno
Making copies (or Backups) is quite easy.
What I meant by
is that there are some people out there that think there is some "magic" software that can make 100% perfect copies that your ps2 can play without any kind of modification. If you are asking what I think you're asking, nothing can burn "original" ps2 games short of the software and burners that Sony uses themselves.
Which just isn't so.
Also, about dvds.
Don't quote me on this but I belive there are some models of ps2 that have trouble reading dvd+r (I could be wrong), I use dvd-r and have had very few problems that wheren't user caused.

You are half correct Arucardo. PS2 Models V4 and under can't read DVD+R, they can only read DVD-R. Everything over the V4 model has no problem reading both formats.
game_freak, use Imgburn to rip the game and burn it onto either DVD+R/-R . Burn at max speed.
If you use DVD decryptor, there's an option to set the DVD+R booktype to DVD-R which will let it work on ps2s below v4. But easy way out is to use DVD-R.
Any program that works and has buffer underrun protection (99% of modern [programs do) will be fine.
ok thanks for all the help guys +K :ThAnKs:
i guess i'll try either nero, Imgburn or dvd decryptor
