Thread: I am new to this console[ ps2 ] since i have only been playing psp..xd

Ok, i got this console from my cousin a ps2 slim since he bought a ps3 so he gave it to me.
I take it since i know there are many ps2 games out there for me to enjoy.
I got a few cool games, started palying them..

But the question is, i may sound stupid or anything, but i want to be sure,
How do i change the disk?
Is there like any button to eject the disk out of the centre circle thing or do i just pull the cd out of it.
But when i pull the cd out, there will be like clicking sound or somthing which is the like lock thing on the small circle to lock the disk.
When i want to put the disk, i just push the disk into place and the clicking sound also is heard.

Is this normal?
I don't want to be spoiling the console..xD

That clicking sound is normal, it's the sound of the disk locking/unlocking from the spindle.

Hit the open button and the disk break should activate (stopping the disk from spinning) then grasp the disk from the sides (Never from underneath as you can scratch it) and lift to remove.
To insert a game put it on the spindle and press near the middle until it clicks, if it doesn't click then the disk will probably get damaged when you close the drive and it tries to spin it.

pls help me ive been trying to used ps2 loader but i dont know how to put games to usb,i tried downloading but when i played it, it doesnt work why?

Hmm...let's go over that again as there are many issues that may happen.
Supposing that your ps2 is hacked/modded/whatever let's go over these steps:
1. Are you using openps2loader?
2. Is it the newest version?
3. By saying USB, do you put it on an pendrive/usb stick or an external hard drive?
4. Does your USB thingy work everywhere else, except for the PS2?
5. What file system does your USB thingy have?
6. Do you put the games to their necessary place in the necessary file format/extensions?
