    Default ps2 mod ???

    looking to buy ps2 and have ? bout modding it to play burnt games that i download from web but dont have original copy of such game psx and ps2 games is there a soderless chip or softmod that will do this i have had exp with softmodding wii but ps2 is new to meplease let me know how to do this or post links on info please

    For softmods, I recommend Free MCBoot.
    Your only solderless option for the ps2 (chip wise) is Memor32, which is NOT recommended as Free MCBoot is exactly the same thing and costs little to nothing to install as opposed to Memor32s $60+.

    can i use the codebreaker and freemcboot was looking freemcboot web page and they show it being done but will it let my play downloaded burt games without original copy or disk swap deal that just seems to much of a hassle for my kids to mess with

    Yes, once installed use Free MCBoot to launch ESR.
    ESR allows you to load burned games, but you must patch the iso with ESR disk patcher (see prior link) before burning the game to get it to work.
