Thread: Use PS2 as a NAS Media streamer

Hi.
I have a slim PS2 gathering dust in my daughter's bedroom and I was wondering if it is possible to use it as a Media Streamer, laying movies from a NAS? I have FreeMCBoot installed on a memory card and was wondering if SMS Player would do the job or is there some other way of doing it?

I can't believe no one has answered this yet. You can stream media from a PC or what ever, check this link out, click on "2.6.1 Network Configuration" and "3.2. Playing Files Over A Local Area Network".
