false LBA on ps2 games!
hi everyone! by browsing on different sites, i read a lot threads about games having a false lba to maximize the space on the disk. my question is that will the game be affected when i remove this false lba. ??? (by rebuilding the image file...):o

there's only one way to find out, and that's by actually rebuilding the image. If you do it properly it should still work, depending on the game. However, not all dummy files are bad... the PS2 reads from the outside of the disc inwards, therefore pushing the data on the outer edge of the disc reduces loading time and it's easier on your laser.
