Thread: no more ps2 online?

there used to be lots of online ps2 games why don't any recent ones have online capability?

Not enough money to support new ps2 servers perhaps? I'm not sure

well like i said i said dying and not dead but just not as used like it used to be...

not really....i guess since sony have the ps3 there have no time for the ps2 anymore

you should play battlefield modern combat, best ps2 online game
and still alot people are playing it.
you can even just download the game and patch it with the dnas patcher(not like the socom games, cause its not possible for those)

it's the game companies' fault. most of them already jumped into the ps3. while the remaining few either makes games for both ps3 and ps2 or ps2 alone like atlus.

so i suppose it's kinda true that ps2's dying, but not because of sony, it's because of those game companies. and of course they themselves host the servers so it's not surprising.
