Thread: Good shooting games for ps2

hiya everyone! =D
i was wondering if there were any good shooting games out there for ps2
i have wasted a bunch of dvds on games that people said were fun,and ended up giving them away because they weren't, atleast to me
soooo
are there any really good, fun shooting games out there?
i played cold winter, and didn't like it at all
killzone is fun, but bad controls brought it down
what i'm playing right now is 007 agent under fire and timesplitters 3
what i'm looking for is something fun, realistic, and face-paced, and preferably splitscreen with bots (shooting guys next to me is fun! xD)
so if any of you guys happen to stumble upon this thread, can you guys give me your opinions?

i'm also looking for socom 2, if anyone knows where a copy is
and is combined assault any fun?i hear is has 2 players, but w/e xD

By shooting games you mean FPS right? If so, then you could try Black or the war-based games series Medal of Honor and Call of Duty.

any game will do, as long as its more than one player
i didnt really like black :[
i beat it half way, but gave it to my cousin O.o
medal of honor is ok, but the franchise has pretty much been the same, as well as call of duty O.o

Contra: Shattered Soldiers maybe?
I don't really play that much shooting games but Contra is pretty enjoyable co-op game.

you could try red faction games or urban chaos riot response. and contra shatterd soldier is pretty awesome coop game as well

well red faction to me ok, especially shooting through walls, but it got boring to me
riot response was fun for a while, but it got boring
