Thread: Rock Band 2

I've had this game for a month now. My kids and I have played this every weekend, it has really brought us together. The singing especially helped with self esteem. My son said he heard Rock Band was a rip-off of Guitar Hero. I told him Guitar Hero was first and you could only use a guitar.

The two most noticeable differences are the music sound and background performance. Rock Band actually plays the song by the original artist, not a reproduction. The background performance looks like it was tailored to the song down to the moving lips, not like redundant characters that are prompted to move on a cue. The thing I like the most about Rock Band 2 is that even on expert it was not impossible.

Well, I have all GH and RB games for PS2 and RB2 is my favorite. But without the DLCs, there arent a lot of songs for PS2. And the endless setlist can be quite hard for nothing (just change your icon, on PS3 and X360 it shows your skill level when playing online). I would rate it 9/10.
