Default Dragonball Z Infinite World review

DBZ is a timeless classic that will (IMO) never get old. Like all animes that have VG's based on them, it has its good ones and bad ones and this..........is in between. This is the last DBZ PS2 game and I wasn't that impressed

    Story
If you watched DBZ or played any DBZ game you should know the story. If you don't that means you've been watching too much Gundam :P You are Goku, an alien called Saiyan from outer space who was sent to Earth to conquer it but instead has become its protector. Along with your friends you fight evil that wants to take over the planet. Like most DBZ games they only take key elements and not take the whole story

    Gameplay
If you ever played DBZ: Budokai 3 then prepare for the same game again. Don't get me wrong thats a good thing but its just that they took alot of the fun stuff out it. Remember when two fighter used to clash when they both hit each other with the P&K Button? Well its not in IW. Also remember when two opponents ki blast (or >E) used to do an epic clash? Well they took that out too. But it still has all the other elements that made Budokai what it is today. Its just that this game feels broken like Dimps was starting the game out good and decided to just wing it for the rest. Oh and if you are wondering what the Dragon Mission mode is like, well it sucks..........it sucks badly. The controls are horrible! I really had my hopes up cause just seeing Tien charging up his Tri Beam and seeing Goku race along Snakeway Road was awesome but it failed.

    Graphics
Not much to say about the graphic, its pretty much an improved version of B3 using B1 cutscenes

    Sound
Sound is pretty decent. If you loved the dub voices of DBZ then you'll love it. If you only love the original Japanese voices........then you're out of luck.

Overalll this game could be alot better and I had really high expectations for this game It feels like its been rushed and Dimps just gave up on it. Don't get me wrong its not a super bad game its just it feels so incomplete. It just shows that the PS2 is gonna be put asleep soon. The only game for the PS2 I am looking forward to is Re:Chain of Memories for the U.S

If you want to play the game I have upload it and it is in my thread so you the community can check it out http://www.ps2iso.net/index.php?topic=4137.0

And remember if you disagree with my review express yourself

The only thing I liked about the game is that it had every possible character you can think of.On the other hand it had nothing new.So the whole surprise for the last game on PS2 was a phial. Moreover graphic vise I think budokai 3 was a little better.Oh well lets hope they give out something better for the next gen console.

Well I hope Burst Limit 2 doesn't stink like the first if it comes out. (Oh who am I kidding its coming out soon)

Kinda had hopes for this game.

And Burst Limit 2 or IW 2 (whatever comes out next) needs to be longer (I beat BL in a day, with Z rank), also more what if storylines

I think itll probably be burst limit 2.Cause IW in my opinion is just a name to symbolize the various time sagas and happenings on dbz and gt.Besides the story is already completed in IW so why would we need a 2nd?
