I use Free MCBoot to launch ESR.
It was 100% "free" for me because I already owned all the tools needed to do it prior to finding out about Free MCBoot, so I didn't have to buy anything extra.
I have Codebreaker 10 and Action Replay Max EVO (with media player) and several USB flash drives.
The only part of installing anything that is free is downloading the software, the needed hardware costs money.

Again, the only way you can do it without additional hardware is the game swap trick to install FMCB. Please read the link I sent you, we can't explain it any clearer than that. Go in Installation, all the methods will be listed and explained. It also mentions which model are compatible with it.
that link dosent tell how 2 do the swap trick.please find and give me another link or any other info in any link or anything to tell me how to do swap trick without swap magic disk and in ps2 slim (SCPHxxxxx)

Yes it does, you just didn't bother looking at the FMCB Install Tutorials at the top of that page.
also i dont understand how the swap trick can make the pendrive work in which u have the fmcb.
It loads uLaunchELF which then is used to launch the Free MCBoot installer (as it states in the tutorial).

There is an ISO CD of the Free MCBoot installer but you need a way to boot backups to load it (Swap Magic, Ect) so it's a catch 22.

That tutorial has been dummied down as much as possible if you get nothing from it then I don't know what to tell you.

That info is slightly outdated.
The only 9x ps2s that don't work are SCPH-90004 with a date code of 8c (the date code can be found in a little grey box by itself next to your systems serial number on the label on bottom) or newer.
If you have that model or newer then your only modding options are a modchip or swap magic as nothing else will work.

Please answer my question:
Is it a full game, or did you remove something, like some extra or cutscenes in the game.
Because 3.48GB is too much.

Sorry but no, you are boned.
A few 8c's escaped the factory with the 2.20 bios so you'd have a small chance but any after that have the 2.30 bios which negates the use of homebrew launchers (Free MCBoot).
You can still use homebrew apps (ESR, USBAdvance, ect.) but you'll need Swap Magic or a modchip to launch them.
I recommend finding a friend with an older model and ask them to swap with you or hitting up a pawn brokers shop, most pawn brokers will gladly swap a newer version for an older one with little to no cost to you.
