    Default NTSC-U convert to NTSC-U

I am trying to play Katamari Damcy on PCSX2 (ver. 0.9.6) but the emulator only supports NTSC-J region of the game.

I have a NTSC-U iso, is it possible to convert it into NTSC-J?

Will rep if you help out

No, i don't think that's possible. Whether it's -J or -U, NTSC is NTSC that's the region itself.
Pcsx2 should be able to run all regions though...

only played up to 4, so 5th one isn't there yet:p

    Hi Skyhawk 02

    thanks for replying!

On the PCSX2 compatability list it specifically specifies that the game has to be in NTSC-J region or it will not work.

    Thanks for your reply though!

    no problem.
    but that's a rare case...
pcsx2 should be able to run ntsc-u of that game since it's just the same region.
    but i could be wrong.

Games that are from different regions usually have different coding, info in different addresses etc so are like... different.
If one region works in PCSX2, another might not. It's unlikely, but it can happen and the compat list will say so. So there's no way to get it running yet :(
