Thread: [Working]Pal/NTSC converter

I'm new to the whole ps2 modding thing and when i came across the pal/ntsc problem i was looking for a converter and when i finally found one i used it but it didn't work and there went another wasted dvd, then i found another and it didn't work now im pissed and ready to give up then but i didn't i did more research and finally found one but it only converts pal to ntsc not vice versa or at least i don't know how to make it do that in reverse and i thought i should post it here since the ones i found here didn't work.

Also later i realized that if you have swap magic coder (mabye even the older versions have this idk) you can choose which way to boot like if u put in a pal dvd and boot it ntsc it auto converts it but doesn't change the screen so you will still need this converter. After you convert the iso you can boot from default if u want.

Screen problem-When pal is converted to ntsc the screen moves down this converter moves it back up using "y-fix" (think coordinate plane)

This has worked on every game I've tried(Ive only used ps2 patcher with y-fix but i found this adr patcher in the same place and they said if ps2 patcher doesnt work adr will)

thx haven't tried it but this is the only pal to ntsc ive found.

I wish it could convert from ntsc to pal, since most of game are in ntsc not in pal (which give me black and white image if I tried to play ntsc game on my old TV).
Anyway, it is good to know how to convert from pal to ntsc, thank you.

no such thing, because ntsc-j and ntsc-u are both alike, it wont make a difference.

NTSC is the video signal, J and U are the regions.
A region converter is not possible and not needed anyway and converting NTSC to NTSC is redundant and useless.

Will this convert ps1 games as well??
