Is this a updated version? I have the old version and it works... The problem is the cheats for FinalFantasy XII was not there, so I have to add them manually...
I have a tutorial on how to update the list of ARMAX EVO, but don't want to risk...
I know this will be a great find for some. I've been looking for a method for a while now to use ARMAX with SwapMagic, but I've never had any luck with the how-to's that are floating around the net. Well all that has changed! I found this ISO on a torrent site that solves
the problem. Its an AIO ISO with ARMAX EVO and DVDLOADER. This is the simplest way to use ARMAX. Credits go to AMAZINGLARRY I have RE-PACKED the files into one RAR for easier downloading. I have tested it, and it works
PERFECTLY!! Just follow the README. Have FUN!

Now that we have finished all that bull**** on to the info. These files should have 100% integrity, and i have tested all methods listed below. Although only two games have been tested using these methods and files, It is reasonable to think that most or ALL DVD and CD Backups will run just fine with codes. TUTORIAL FOR USE: For future reference in this guide, FLIP TOP LIDS, SLIDE TOOLS, GHOST SWITCHES and any other trick to swap discs without PS2 recognizing an eject, will be referred to as the EJECT EXPLOIT or SWAP METHOD You will need: Swap Magic DVD and CD Discs - I tested with Version 3.6 Software to burn DVD ISO's A BACKUP of an original PS2 or PSone Title. It is very possible to use this back up version of AR Max EVO with Swap Magic 3.6. Although i have only tested with SWAP MAGIC 3.6 it should be possible with most versions. In this rar file you will find an ISO that needs to be burned to a DVD. Yes, a DVD is the best way to get this working, as a CD version is only easily used with PS2 CD-Based Games. If you want to run DVD PS2 games with codes easily this is the BEST way to do it. Once burned to a DVD this baby is ready to go. Follow these steps for DVD backups and see steps below for CD-Based PS2 games. DVD BACKUPS: 1) Boot your PS2 with SWAP MAGIC DVD Disc 2) Using EJECT EXPLOIT insert AR MAX EVO DVD and hit X 3) Make sure you scroll down on the Black and White screen to the option entitled RESET IOP. Change this to always. Hit X to run DVDLOADER 4) At the DVDLOADER screen hit X and you will have a menu. Select AR MAX and hit X to load AR MAX EVO 5) Enter Expert Mode to find your desired codes and hit START 6) At this point AR MAX EVO Will prompt you to eject and insert game Disc - DO NOT EJECT, just hit start game with codes then X and wait for the Black and White screen to load. Dont worry about the IOP option just hit X and let DVDLOADER load up. 6) To Stop your disc from spinning in the disc tray you will need to hit the Triangle button. 7) The Screen will lose a few words and and this is when you will need to use whatever EJECT EXPLOIT you use to insert the SWAP MAGIC DVD Disc 8) Now hit Triangle once again and the disc will start to spin and the screen will reload. Now hit the X Button. 9) a red screen should come up prompting you to swap dvd with EA method, Don't worry as all you need to do is use your EJECT EXPLOIT and insert the DVD game backup you want to run with codes. HIT X VOILA!! You are now running your DVD BACKUP game with codes from a BACKUP AR MAX. CD BACKUPS: 1) Boot your PS2 with SWAP MAGIC DVD Disc 2) Using EJECT EXPLOIT insert AR MAX EVO DVD and hit X 3) Make sure you scroll down on the Black and White screen to the option entitled RESET IOP. 7) The Screen will lose a few words and and this is when you will need to use whatever EJECT EXPLOIT you use to insert the SWAP MAGIC CD ROM Disc 8) Now hit Triangle once again and the disc will start to spin and the screen will reload. You should see at the bottom left corner PS2 CD as the current media. 9) Now Use your EJECT EXPLOIT SWAP METHOD and insert your PS2 CD BACKUP game. VOILA!! You are now running a BACKUP PS2 CD game with a BACKUP COPY of AR MAX. Its an older version of ARMAX, you can manually update codes, or update with codelist from codejunkies
How can you update the ARmax / add new codes?
??? ??? ???
Do you need a Flash memory stick and does it need to be formatted?
With (the long and tedious way) a controller, (the easier way) with a usb keyboard orOriginally Posted by udz007

I highly recommend this method as only the games you want will be stored on the memory card and you don't have hundreds of games listed that you'll never use.

11. Choose Max Media Player from the main menu.
12. When Max Media Player has loaded, swap the Action Replay MAX disc for your codelist CDR.
13. When the Codelist Updater runs, swap your CDR for your ARMAX disc.
.....wait a few seconds...
14. Swap the discs again when prompted.
15. When the codelist loads choose the codes you would like to include on your codelist by pressing the X.
16. Ppress the ‘CIRCLE' button on your controller when finished selecting the codes you would like to transfer.
17. When asked where you would like to save your codelist to, choose either memory card slot or USB Pen-drive; highlight your selection and press ‘X'.

Can you load this on HDLoader? I lost my copy and need to install the ESR exploit, as well as backing up the saves on the MC.
All I can say is try it, I've never tried it so I don't know.Originally Posted by ChaosBoi

Man, this doesn't work on HDLoader (It's stuck on a purple screen). Oh well, I found a Codebreaker Elf so I was able to transfer my exploits.
i downloaded a torrent that was EXACTLY like this (with the same read me and all)
it didn't work, but i have no eject exploit whatsoever, any way i can use this the infinity modchip without any eject expolits or hdds or anything?
i know infinity says its a no swap modchip but that only works for cd not dvds
any help would be appreciated...
thanks m8 for this
