Load it with uLaunch or your favorite elf launcher.
After loading open the lid by pushing eject, insert an original psx game wait for the disk to stop spinning (about .5 seconds) then use your swap trick of choice put in the psx backup and then hit X.

wats the point, because ulaunch can load backup ps1 games anyway

The point is that not everyone uses ulaunch.

I wish someone would come out with an ELF like this for people like me who own PS2s that are older than V9. :-\

PS1 backups can't be loaded within ULaunch...

they can but i fink u have to put a original ps1 disc in first. i cant remember exactly how u do it.

will this work for the slim ps2 and im tryning to install freemcboot on my slim and im haveing a hard time with it can anyone help me. also i had luanched freemcboot 1.7 off a backup disk and it didnt have the config and the boot.efl and ect. so can anyone plz help me

Yes, it'll work on a slim.

if you put uLe w/ disc control ON it with stop the cd motor. PSX Launcher only works on v9 PS2 and up. And this work great on FreeMCboot and v9+ PS2 system and fastbooting this elf on startup.
