weird. i have v14 (75003) and i can play psx games by quickly swaping and replasing original ps1 game with backup. But when i launch PSXlauncher.elf with original game inside and then replasing with backup it just spins that backup and wont load anything (black screen always). I have RE2 original game and FF8 as a backup. Wondering what im doing wrong here. That FF8 game i got from friend that he bought from ''black'' market (lol) and it has picture painted on it. I dont know at what speed this game was burned but you think this could cause my problem here? At what speed PSX games have to be burned and does that affect PSXlauncher? ty for ansver. But still wondering why i can play ff8 backup w/o a problem if i do quick swap method, but not using PSXlauncher method

my chip in ps2 loads everything-ps2-ps1 backups. whats the point to use this software? cant understand

you've helped me a lot already I hope I can count one you this time as well. I do have a FreeMcBoot Memory Card, someone made it for me, but I do not have any of those fancy AR Max or SwapMagic thingys. Can I still put this somehow onto that memorycard with uLaunch or something?
Sry, for the noob question but I kinds new to the PS2 mod scene!^^

You can put the elf file on a usb device formatted to FAT32 (Hard drive, flash drive, whatever) then either use uLaunch to copy it to your memory card using uLaunch's file manager or (recommended) just run the file from the usb device using uLaunch.

mine dont use freemcboot for some rease dont know my virsion but it is the bois 9001
