Configure SMS Simple Media System to work with USB.
From PS2 Browser goto "Simple Media System" press "X"
In "Simple Media System" press "Start" for Options
    Goto "Device Settings" press "X"
then go down to "Autostart USB" press "X"
press "Triangle" to go back to Options
then go down to "Save Settings" press "X"
then go down to "Exit SMS" press "X"
    PS2 will restart,
Hold "R1" or at PS2 Browser goto "uLaunchELF" press "X"
Go down to "FileBrowser" press "O"
    Then goto "MC?:/SYS-CONF/" press "O"
then go down to "USBD.IRX" press "R1"
In a box on the right it will say "Copy" should be selected press "O"
press "Triangle" to go back, and goto "SMS/" press "O"
press "R1" in the box on the right "Paste" should be selected press "O"
    Restart PS2
Now USB should work with Simple Media System.
You made a simple process harder.
    Step 1. Open SMS.
Step 2. Press start to bring up the menu and select "Device settings".
    Step 3. Click "Autostart USB".
Step 4. Click "Start USB support".
Step 5. Hit triangle, select "Save settings" and hit triangle again.
Done, no restarting or copying of files needed.

No, you still need to follow one of the regular FMCB install tutorials.

You can delete what you don't need from the install folder, then run the fmcb installer with uLaunchElf. FMCB originally doesn't come with anything.

See the way i was able to install this was because this was a iso so burned the iso on a disc then i put swap magic cd in first then put the burned iso in and it installed free mcboot along with everything else. I had to do this because my flash drive doesn't seem to work on my ps2

Once you load uLaunchELF is it able to detect your USB drive? (under uLaunchELFs file browser)
It'll show up as mass, if so you can move all the elf files from the folder on your memory card (except the FMCB files and uLaunchELFs boot.elf) to your usb drive and run them from there.

One thing this comes with USB advance. So i got USB extreme and i ran the iso through the installer process. Then i put all the files it outputs on my computer on my flashdrive so i start up USB Advance and put my flash drive in and it detects my game so i select start and the it appears to load then it goes black screen and i cant do anything else so do i have to patch the iso first?
