    You can't use an externam hdd to update CB you need a USB thumd drive no bigger than 1gb. (that's just how they did it)
    You can enter the codes by hand using a USB keyboard or via the controller.

    damn i dont have any thumb drive less than 1gb( wasted my money buying that cheapskate now).

    Can the Codebreaker detect PSP 4gb MSPD?

    I try transfer the cbc file from my external hdd to my memory card,then i go back to code breaker & check my memory card,it doesnt detec the cbc file,it only detect savegame file.

    That is because CB doesn't look for update files on a MC only on a thumb drive.
    If you have a router or whatever plug your ps2 into it and download the codes off the Day1 server (the globe icon under Day1).

    I have a question.........one is not related to this and one is related............
    the not related........I have made a new topic and when someone enters a post, I don't get it on my message or notification or smthing like that.......why???

    and the related one...........whn i download these two parts up there, do i get a chance to play copied games on my PS2 with codes ???
    after the download, what do I do with these to files .????

    1. No idea.
    2. The first "part" is CBCMaker you go to a web site with codes copy/paste them into it and it'll generate a Day1 (.cbc) file for them.
    The second "part" is the actuall Codebreaker elf.
    ELF is to PS2 as EXE is to PC.
    Put it on a memory card, USB thumb drive or HDD and run it with an elf launcher.
    Yes you can use it to cheat on copies.

    but can u tell me how ???? u told me something about the ESR .......how to patch games and can I patch them when they are already prepared for burning, I mean when they are in ISO formats

    okey i tried MGS 2 :Son of Libery cheat,i click on the start game,& it ask me to insert the disc game,i did insert it & waited until 3 minutes,the screen shows blank red.


    What did happen?Did i do anything wrong here?

    Arucardo, when I tried to load cheats with FFX international, it says due to regional restrictions the game couldn't start. (I downloaded FFX btw)

    You aren't trying to use the codes for FFX that where already on the list of codes are you?
