Swap Magic 3.6 CD and DVD ISO and ELFs



Please DO NOT download this if you have no method of loading a backup, as this is what this is

This cannot be booted in an un-modified ps2 without help from a retail swap magic or cogswap

This is here purely for people want to use it for purposes other than loading backup games

like mod chip users who can access there usb with the old school mod chip and people that just like
expermenting with ps2 related stuff.

These ISOs are the US (NTSC U) versions, i had get from my own disc, which was a pain, but i got it so here it is

what do you use these things for?I don't quite get it ???

they dont really have a use since there no retail pressed discs, but i did explain what people would download them for

some people just want them so i posted them

can this be used with fmcb. if so does the disc need patching

This has the ELFs so just load them with ulaunchELF

a question john, can i use the cd to boot psx backups? i would use cogswap to boot the swap magic cd and use the cd to boot psx backup.(i think i wrote that correctlyÇ)

you could use the CD to launch psx loader, providing you dont have a 90000 series PS2 where the psxloader ELF has been blocked

the simple way to load psx backups is to simply

load an original, at the psx logo swap for your backup
or slightly longer way
power on ps2 with no disc, goto browser, insert real psx game, when it goes black and say psx disc
swap trick for backup, press x on the disc, and it loads

tried that method already wont work on my v7, i think its due to my laser, il try to clean it(havent done that in a while)
psxlauncher only works for v9 and up consoles so that wont work for me either(tried it already, i have done my research)
the only thing i havent tried is swap magic related since i cant get an original swap magic disc.

the best way is the browser method its a simple swap, but if that not working you must have a dead/weaked CD coil in your laser

if m not mistakn the browser method worked for certain versions of ps2 but was removed (it worked for like v5 and down) was probably enabled in slims cuz they didnt think people would block the sensors). but seriously dude you havent answered my question, would the method work?
