Today, SEGA revealed that both The House of the Dead 3 and The House of the Dead 4 would be coming exclusively to the PlayStation Network in 2012. Both titles hail from the famous House of the Dead light gun arcade series, and will be ports of said games "with HD graphics, trophies and complete PlayStation Move support."

The House of the Dead 3 was originally released in 2002, while The House of the Dead 4 found its way out in 2005. With PlayStation Move support, both games should play as they were intended with light guns, though it's unclear whether PlayStation Move support is optional or mandatory.

The House of the Dead 3 will launch on PSN on February 7th, with The House of the Dead 4 following sometime in the spring.

I just hope that MOVE isn't mandatory. I hate that proprietary crap.

Yea. I played 3 which was good but 4 is the seller since it was arcade only.
Overkill had controller options so.. I don't think sega is that stupid to make it MOVE exclusive.

HOTD 3 was released on the wii years ago so hows it "exclusively" on psn lol

Because it's an updated version, in HD.

Get PSN for PES2012 and WWE12 as well please

HOTD had it's run in the arcades and don't get me wrong, they were great; but I think they lose interest on the consoles.

This is good **** man. House of the Dead 4 on pure HD graphics and on the PS3. Only played in Arcade, never released in consoles... until now. Awesomee. No need to worry for it's fix. Duplex or EXEtrimall will do the job.

Anything pre-gen is better, good news.
