Thread: [update] (maybe) A complete list of PSN Games still running on OFW 4.00

Maybe someone won´t see this news-worthy, then you can put it into general chat or else :

Today i updated on ofw and decided to test all of my downloaded psn-games if they are going to work or not.

To my surprise the first one i tried worked just fine, the second one not, and so i kept trying until i had tested all my downloaded games.

here are the games that still work on OFW 4.00 (downloaded from ps3iso threads):

- Blade Kitten
- Dungeon Hunter Alliance
- Flow
- Go: Sudoku
- Heavy Weapon
- Hoard
- Lara Croft - Guardian of Light
- Microbot
- Might & Magic - Clash of Heroes
- Pixel Junk: Eden
- Pixel Junk: Monsters
- PS1 Classic Castlevania
- Rocket Knight
- Rush´n Attack: Ex Patriot
- Shank
- Swarm
- Swords and Soldiers
- Tetris


They are from different releases - some where original .pkgs with crack and some react 2.0 - there are in fact no games with "edat"-fix in this list beside Hoard.
(Someone mentioned that "edat"-fixes must work, but they aren´t i tried Rocketbirds and two more).

Anyway, i think some devs can use this information in finding out what is different on those games and maybe it could lead to something useful.
Or some people can update because Hoard was the only game really restrainted them from updating

There might be more titles because i stopped downloading every new release one day.
I had about 150 games of PSN titles and this is what´s left working on OFW 4.00

to prevent stupid questions: yes you can play online.

update for those who want to know:
how i achieved this:
1. I installed the games during the last year when i was on CFW (3.55 of course).
2. All games are from PS3Iso threads (blackotoo/exetrimall/and few others)
3. Update to 4.00 via Internet
4. Tried what is working and what not
5. Didn´t make any backup or something else. Also it was the first thing i did after i reinstalled my psn-connection.

I was under the impression that once we began using reactPSN because it was necessary to write to dev flash that we would later not be able to update and log onto PSN.

How did you install the games that work? .pkg crack or something? or reactPSN?

LOL, I don't know why you're so surprised.
All genuine PSN games that have been signed with official keys should work without issue's, But saying that i guess it depends on if the game has been modded and how its been modded.

both, as i can remember Dungeon Hunter was a react game, the others .pkg + crack

well, i have absolutely no idea if and what was changed on those games, that´s why i´m posting this for someone who might have an idea . i don´t know which keys are used and i am no developer, so: yea, i´m surprised because they shouldn´t run (like most).

why? updating rewrites the fw... i only had to set system settings back to original to log into psn.

If you would've re-installed all the PSN games without the crackfixes.. those would've worked too on the OFW.. the games that have fixes installed won't work on OFW.

well... those two games have fixes installed and they work.
and how can something going to work if it isn´t activated? you cannot install anything without activation beside cfw.

Yeah of course they should run if they've been done properly, If they've been done properly they would be the same as the official Sony releases.
But they must be signed.
