    Default A look at the PS Vita Recovery Menu and how to access it

    Just like the PS3, PS Vita is also equipped with a ‘Recovery Menu’. The tutorial below provides the steps necessary to access the Recovery Menu; from there you can perform the following tasks: restart the system, recreate the database, format memory stick, restore the system, and update the system.

    How-to access the Recovery Menu on PS Vita (credit: FLGamerHD):
    Turn OFF your PS Vita (Press Power Button for 10 seconds)
    Now press and hold “R” + Power + PS (PlayStation Button)
    Wait…
    Now you’re in Recovery Menu (Mode)
    What is Recovery Menu:
    Sony did an excellent job with the PS Vita Recovery Menu. The tools it provides will give you the ability to fix corrupt system files, upgrade your firmware, format memory stick and much more. It is a powerful tool and several features should be used with caution as they can remove all your settings, as well as all of your saved information.

    He is brazilian (that's why the menu is in portuguese) and I know him from another forum (Newsinside).

    sony is so lame, they stole the "recovery" menu with the r-trigger option from Dark_Alex's CFW -.-" and why is it called recovery? it doesn't recover anything.. they should've implemented some more functions... if they "copy" it, please do it right!!

    This is great.The Ps vita scene is still alive.Glad to see psvita cfw is getting closer...
