    This is Half Byte Loader running the Picodrive emulator on the Playstation Vita, as a follow up to the Hello World that was announced a few days ago.What you see in the video below is the game “Sonic & Knuckles” running in picodrive, a Megadrive emulator for the PSP.

    Yes, I’m running an emulator inside a hacked emulator on the Vita, that’s kind of cool. There’s lots to say about this ongoing work, but first let me state that, for once, this HBL port is entirely my work, except for the underlying PSP exploit which is initially from Teck4. I’ve been testing other people’s work for a while, so it was about time I got back to coding myself.Now that my ego is satisfied, let’s move on to the details of the video below. I have good news, bad news, and ugly news. But first check the video below, the first usable hack on the PS vita, 10 days after the console is released

    People who have used HBL in the past will recognize the distorted sound from Sonic, this is due to incorrectly estimated syscalls (the PSP emulator on the Vita is based on PSP Firmware 6.60, which has some enforced securities with syscalls)    .
    So yepee to see such a good progress in such small amount of time.Got my fingers crossed to half byte loader.May be in a few days or months we will see HEN on Vita!!:rock:

    Srry i tried to quote but at that mjoment ps3 iso was down so didnt make the trouble of setting it up then.wait I ll quote it.

    pretty sure by time vita comes out in the u.s all this stuff will be patched to hell lol.
