Jb king downloads full of viruses
This was posted on dashhacks. Thought I'd post it here just in case it helps. I was going to post it in the rumours section, but I figured that if it's real then people need to be aware. Mods, please move it if you think I did bad.
---------------
You've no doubt read about JB-King ... it's the jailbreak dongle that closely resembles that of True Blue. But what you should know is this: The downloads at JB-King are seemingly riddled with viruses, namely FlySky.AD and Win32/Nuj.A by the sounds of it. This according to reliable sources by way of CrashSerious ... a respected PS3 developer.
So what can you do to ensure the safety of your computer's well-being? Don't buy JB-King and don't download their files -- it's that simple. Instead you can buy the True Blue Jailbreak Dongle here (they're trusted) or just wait longer for a software jailbreak, which is bound to happen sooner or later; KaKaRoTo has made progress in that regard ... just don't ask when -- stay patient.
Downloaders / jailbreakers beware.

Info on the virus
FlySky.AD. is a virus that also has the characteristics of a worm.
FlySky.AD. gets into a computer via e-mail, the Internet, floppy disks, etc, and it spreads by inserting its code in other files and programs. Its effects can range from simply annoying to destructive.
Furthermore, due to its worm characteristics, FlySky.AD. also spreads by sending out copies of itself. Its main objective is to collapse computers and networks, preventing users from working with the affected computer.
It uses stealth techniques to avoid being detected by the user:
It uses techniques included in its code to hide itself while it is active.
FlySky.AD. uses the following propagation or distribution methods:
Exploiting vulnerabilities with the intervention of the user: exploiting vulnerabilities in file formats or applications. To exploit them successfully it needs the intervention of the user: opening files, viewing malicious web pages, reading emails, etc.
Computer networks (mapped drives): it creates copies of itself in mapped drives.
Computer networks (shared resources): it creates copies of itself in shared network resources to which it has access.

Could be false positives from the virus checker, could just be propaganda from a TB dev to discredit the competition, but better to play it safe. At least you all have the heads up now and know to watch out just in case. Hope this helps.
+rep me if I did a good thing and flame me if I didn't, I can take it.

I think it is important that people realise that it is not the dongle but the game downloads themselves. No doubt some people, who do not have the dongle, have downloaded these releases in the hopes of somebody cracking the protection and making them playable. These people need to run a full virus scan if they have opened the zip files. If they haven't opened them, DELETE them NOW.

Someone should confirm this. Part of the post sounds like they are trying to sell you True Blue.
Most unbiased people would say, "beware of JB King downloads, they appear to be full of possible viruses."
Not
"beware of JB King downloads, they are full of viruses, buy your #1 trusted True Blue TODAY!"
But, hey. I'm just a natural skeptic.

Yeah, this stinks of F.U.D. to me as well to sell TB's.

Don't know who the OP is and I don't really care to find out but half way through this begins to look more like an advertisement and less like a public service announcement. Since I don't have a BJ King or True bull**** I don't care either way.

Ever hear of a false positive? It's what happens when a virus scan reads something (such as a crack for a pirated piece of computer software) as a virus, when it in all actuality isnt!
Don't get Pwnied.
