This weekend video game retailer Playstation Vita | Preorder Playstation Vita | Vita Games | GameStop has revealed pricing for PS Vita accessories and Memory Cards, which will be available in 4, 8, 16 and 32 GB sizes.

To quote from Examiner.com (linked above): "In addition to the first-part offerings from Sony Computer Entertainment, Mad Catz and PDP are also planning a few third-party accessories for the launch of the portable system.

The PS Vita will launch in North America on February 22nd. The first edition bundle (which includes a limited edition case, 4 GB memory card and Little Deviants) is available a week earlier."

Why do you think they made a NEW memory card instead of just using the perfectly fine Memory Duo cards they have now for the PSP? The prices were too low for their tastes. They needed a new, PROPRIETARY, product that they can jack the price up on.

yeah and in a few month we have a lot of copies of the memory card xD that happened on the psp and will happen on vita

Sony is ruled by some jerks...

First they ruined the psp with the UMD-Drive.
Second they will ruin the Vita with high priced mandatory accessoires (just have a look to the usb-cable... pretty sure they design a "special" plug so you have to buy the expensive one), bad games (too many rereleases already, nothing new), restricted compatibility (only 480p on remote screen) and the hate for their customers (you can download your psp titles again, but have to pay for them again).

They will never learn.

Exactly, my 32 gb memory card duo will be useless for VITA.

Those rats are the worst. Honestly, we need to get those lv0 keys and OWN their system as a proper revenge.
