Next-gen graphics engine: CryEngine 3
This video demonstrates the abilities of the renowned game engine
CryEngine 3 to create photorealistic environments by taking you into a tour of the famous Titanic ferry. If this is what we can expect of next-generation console graphics, count me in: most of the video looks like actual video footage! Developed by a small-range studio called ORM Entertainment, this sequence was originally intended to become a Crysis 2 mod. However the studio is looking into getting funds from major editors and hopefully turning this into a full fledged game.

Doesn't look much different to what's possible now. Besides how often when your playing a game do you stop to look at the intricate detail on the light fittings. Less graphics, more story, gameplay, physics improvements please
-
yea that is nice! maybe in the next Uncharted 4 or PS4

games look like this now, because developers are finally honing their skills with the current engines. This video is equivalent to the very first time you saw a PS3 video at E3 over 6 years ago....now....do you think this video is still not advanced enough?

They NEVER produced games that looked like this until a few years into the generation!!! This video is equivalent to that of a lauch game...get it??? I WISH the ps3 launch games looked like this. But they didn't....now imagine what the games made with this engine could look like after people have had 3-4 years to develop on it!!

This is the most photo realistic game movie i have ever seen.If they could do this for the ps4,it would be fantastic.
But not only the environment. They also have to make the game characters photo realistic.
