REBUG Disable Cinavia Installer Since the original release of the PS3MFW Builder Task by tical, 3 weeks ago in regard to bypassing the Cinavia protection found in all the later PS3 firmwares, there has been alot of renew interest in this bypass and how it works, even so that Dean has recently added the feature to overwrite flash files inside his multiMAN application, and he also raised the question "Why no one has released a PKG installer for this?"
So Codename: REBUG team has decided to jump in and do just that, since they were really the original origin of this Cinavia Bypass Fix as it has been a feature of all their REBUG custom firmware releases!

Immortal Never experienced it while watching anything on PS3, dunno why. Maybe because my console is japanese region, and I only watched some original japanese region blu-rays and some pirated porn, converted for PS3 use.

PS3ISO Legend if you watch any of those movies on the list your ps3 stops playing the video after like 20 minutes and gives you an error message of why the videos been disabled.Code:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinavia
The watermark stays through conversion, remuxing, anything, even cam rips have it.

High Lander This may be wrong but from my understanding is that CInivia is a movie protection, a DRM of sorts. It can be used in two ways, as an inaudible sound on the soundtrack or small defects in the video. Now both are invisible to the person watching the movie but the Cinivia system is always on the watch for them. I've only had a movie with the sound version of the protection go off on me and the way it happened for me it received two minutes worth of the inaudible sound and cut off right exactly at two minutes into the movie. I'm not entirely sure how the video version of this protection works as I've never had it trigger on me with it, but apparently the video track has like tiny spots happen at random and if the system sees them it stops the movie.

Hall of Famer it's good that they have released this. it makes it easier to have surround sound in kmeaw.
