BrownMuffin has released a simple app known as a PKG builder (for playing games on 3.55 CFW). There are games that do NOT work with the PKG trick, but you can give it a shot and let us know your results.

so this takes a ps3 game that's backed up and makes it into a PKG for installation?

yea but it says that most games dont work. and so far i cant get 1 game to work. old or new... nice program would be nice if atleast half the games would work..

Black ops wont work, you will get corrupted error.

i had a PS3 slim with 3.41 with ps3 break 1.1 official, more than 100 games that worked great ...only one i never make it worked, nail'd...lol

if you are still on 3.41 , STAY ON IT... don't do what i've done, i updated to 3.55 for the geohot CFW... now i switched back to my 360.. we all thought a CFW was a panacea , but not, at least for the moment, of course i'm sure that in few days i will be able to revert my slim back 3.41 or at least someone will make all backup works with CFW. the PS3 scene is progressing blazing fast, and i'm not disapointed at all . but i just wanted to advice all 3.41 and dongle owners to stay this way for now. there is a downgrade already for the fat PS3. but not for the slim . the thing i just really want to understand, but i do not, is why do our backups dont work with this CFW .. i thought that all PS3 security were breached... so is there a bad surprise that came with the geohot CFW ?? i'm not desperate lol, i'm absolutly sure that a solution will come and i think we have to be patient .

anyway thanks to all the guys how makes all of this CFW, homebrews ect... because except making iso , i'm not expert to dot he same as them . so a big thank you because in few months the PS3 seems to be widely more open than an xbox 360... who finally still need to be DVD drive flashed to be Able to play homebrews . this is funny finally, for a console sony says it was un hackable.. ^^
