Thread: Geohot's Website Reinstated!

Well, with all of the documents that he's been posting on his main page, who actually knows 100% what is going on with Sony V. Geohot. Originally he posted his .pdf file showing the Temporary Restraining Order, and he additionally removed all data and links from his original main page on his website.

Then he posted the Proposal Order, which told that he had to take every piece of medium that contained any data that he owned (i.e. HD's, USB's,PC,DVD's, etc.). And subsequently, his data remained taken off of his original main page on the website.

Finally he posted a link a scanned document, in it was pages of an additional complaint that Sony had filed on the 11th of January. But miraculously, Geohot's main page that he originally had was reinstated and back to its original self. With all links reposted and the Sony keys are now visible again.

So what happened? Where, in the last 12 hours did he decide to change his mind, fight the good fight? Or did he talk to a lawyer at some point while we were all asleep? No matter, I'm glad that everyone seems to hate Geohot, but he's just the ONLY one to have those kind of nuggets to do what he does. Even on marcan's twitter he pointed out that the court was going to be held in the US and that he was going to avoid coming here. I love marcan, nothing against him, he just doesn't have rocks as big as Mr.Hotz. Nevertheless, the rest of us just have to sit back and wait, as more magic comes. Word on the street was that flukes1 stopped working on his lv1 patching when he heard about all of this, maybe now he'll realize theres nothing to be afraid of.

yea i think flukes1 stopped trying also. i guess it will be a long time before anyone with balls tries to get back up managers on xmb

Just because he's a hacker doesn't mean he's rich. Don't forget that he's releasing his stuff for free.

Yes, however he had originally taken the links off the front page, he recently put them back up.

Yeah and all of the keys weren't showing. They were just x's.

No sorry... Got 2 people mixed up... Its not KaKaRoTo's house. Besides, he probably lives in the smaller house in the back yard..look closely.

I'm pretty sure he put his old page back up because he did talk to a lawyer and since the documents aren't signed yet he doesnt actually have to remove anything yet.
