As is true with all zero-day tech. But, as Cratoss said, that time will pass. Bleeding edge tech is just that, a bloody war. If it can be made cheaper, faster and easier by an indigenous culture in a third-world country, it will be. Always count on the lack of scruples from the business world. That being said...look at us. Sharks circling the chummed waters waiting eagerly for the ultimate (and it really is) demise of Sony. They have been swirling the drain for about 3 years now, one more bad console release and they're history. Not to mention the plethora of crap they've been releasing lately.

So I say hold your panties, kiddies. BluRay will be on the discount shelves two days after LG smashes the spotlights with another groundbreaker like their new autostereoscopic televisions. I caught a chubby thinking about one of those with a Monster HDMI connection running 1080p and a bluray. But what's next? Surely a new medium will come to take up the torch when BluRay drops it. Only time will tell.

The bad thing i can say about hacking consoles is that it ruins the companys because it takes away profit from companys and if alot of ppl do this there will be no more game companys because less people will be spending money so i stick with the older consoles they dont make games for

But I guess the fact that all the poor developers think about us when they wanna charge through the back teeth for 'extra content' to get the 'full experience' from a game you have already paid £40-50 for don't they?

think about it tho, most games are third party games that are identical to the 360 version, so that's a MAXIMUM of 7gb of actual game data, the rest is padded out for a bluray. If we can just compress the game data an up it, it'll be fine (of course the same doesn't apply for beasts like mgs4 or gow3)

@killer1one2: but maybe, once someone has managed to make some sort of headway with the PS3, someone else will put an app together similar to WiiScrubber for upping iso's

I was really pulling for EgoHot, but now that he has i quess "bowed out!" after getting Sony to pull the OtherOS feature on his behalf, GFY! Seriously! You do 1 phone and a half A'd attempt at the PS3 (getting our features stripped). What did you expect from the world? What do you think an Actor, Singer, Best Author goes through on a daily basis? @goth1k i dont dl ps2 i only stick to the old games like nes and why dl them when i can buy the original disc and case for around $1 at pawn shops and yard sales but its only about 75 cents more than a dvd and the quality is better for gameplay and i like to stay away from that stuff just to be safe
