wow good news on ps3 hacked i wonder what is the exploit gonna be? hope this is promising and nice find dood i saw this on psx-scene.com. I am still going to buy games evening tho it get hacked if this is forrealz? What i want know if there going to be hombrew goodies or maybe ps2 emu support that would be nice :D

Based on most other consoles that have been hacked
Usually a HELLO WORLD program is demonstrated on the newly hacked device
then
a audio/video graphic demo follows (usually with some hacker groups name in it) showing they understand how to control video and sound
then
more hardcore stuff like bootleg games and or modifying the systems OS

So before you dream about iso loaders and what games you will be downloading and playing ps2 games on your ps3 and dreamcast emulators....
Picture at it this way...like a movie...
a bunch of cavemen go out on a hunt and find a gigantic cube
then club it and club it because, well they are cavemen, and they want inside
once caveman called Geohot (I still that is a gay name) finds a special way in a special place to get in
*which is hit the cube in the shiny area (because the cube is really a library, and shiny area is a window)

now that there are cavemen in the library, do you think they immediate know everything in the library? Or even the Dewey Decimal system to find what they want? Or even read?

So whats the news on this hack any details on what it really does?

Thats a very good question really. I wonder if he was working alone. Seens like the guy is a bit obsessed with that too. He counted every day passed and said "that was a pretty secure system". I also dont know how can that guy need a PS3 donated from my "underdevelopment" country (AKA Brazil) to start working. That guy must already be millionarie.

And I dont know him personally but just his acts and the way he talks show me he is a very nice guy, despite an unhappy comment made by a dude on this forum.

Now lets see if SONY will delay the launching of God of War III even a week more.

It's not supposed to do anything for the average user, all it does is open the doors for other hackers.

I got a feeling that you wont beable to hack the slim consoles...
