    If there won't be any higher CFWs this device will be very useful. Granted, there is no guarantee that $ony could not disable the usage of it via Update either, so it usefulness remains to be seen.
    But looking at it, I'm pretty sure it'll be pricey.
    Honestly, so what if we're stuck on 4.31 CFW for years - do you realize how many games are available upto FW 4.31 that will be playable? This hardware device is useless to anyone who's already on CFW.. it's only going to be of value if it works (without any problems) on newer PS3's especially the 'super-slims'.

    And we have LV0 Keys in case u forgot, which is only useful for older models with the "old" Bootloader....
    so itīs interesting to see how 3key Team develope a workaround to get BR Keys on LV0.2 Consoles

    the same happend with the xkey!RHG came out and everybody made jokes about anybody how have one!but most of the console owners dont have the knowledge and the patience to patch games downgrade firmwares,use mutlimanagers,they want on time easy solutions!put the game on HDD and play,online and offline!i play just exculsives on my ps3 i play multiplatform games on my xbox with xkey!and maybe i will buy the 3k3y,but i dont like the idea to download 1:1 game backups,every game will be around 25 gb,what its to big and take to much time!

    I left the ps3 scene two months ago, and when I come back the same people are asking dumb questions, the same people are yelling at those people, the same people are complaining that things are useless, and everyone is acting like a child still.

    This is why I left!

    There was no conversations on 3key, much less arguments over its usefulness.

    I think you just decided to pop your head in here to try and take a quick pop shot at someone. Though, since you just lied about either why you left or the timeframe, your argument holds no validity.

    Be honest, the reason you left the scene is because you got your up to date cfw that can go online so you only come back for fixes, updates or games to download right? I thought so, typical leecher.

    Left the scene two months ago yet you just registered in august 2012, so you were in the scene for what......two months?

    this going to be like tb and be good for dev can make cfw for the new ps3 it so hard to get ps3 on 3.55 i know they cant do it yet maybe after sony give up next year on ps3 they bypass sony update all the time and we thank you dev for that we thank duplex and the others as well for there work to and staff here keeping us up to date here just wish the spm botls stop i knw the staff trying to fix but they come at night
