    Hello Everyone,
    Yesterday I installed MM04.14. Everytime I try to start PES 2013, It starts to reset my usb drive. This results in not recognising the usb drive entirely until I reboot + I'm not able to start PES 2013 from disc nor app_home in XMB. I have two usb drives connected in the front. My PS3 is a CHECHL.

    Anybody any thoughts what happens here and how to fix it? mm 04.12 worked fine for me...

    I noticed that every time I load a game, multiMAN scans USB bus for storage devices, no matter how
    many USB drives are plugged, is this really necessary when there's only 1 USB external HDD connected,
    or there's a way to enable the USB bus scan only when we need? Thanks in advance

    @BrunoNRG it needs to scan the USB bus to detect how many physical USB devices are attached. If there is only 1 device, it may skip the disconnect/reconnect steps. However, if there only 1 device but you have changed it to another USB port, multiMAN have to perform the disconnect/reconnect steps.

    This process only happens on CFW 4.2x/4.30, due only the first USB device is recognized when the system is started.

    DeanK invested several days trying to find a solution that works in all situations. The scan of USB bus just adds 3-5 seconds, so it's not that bad. Although if you have 2 or more devices, the load time can be longer.

    If you prefer, you can use an earlier version (4.13.00 or lower)
