Thread: Consumer Alert from SONY regarding illegal PSN access

Advice to all online users please do not use cheat because as online gamer I hate when someone cheats

I am against cheats overall, and I only play one game online(which I actually bought, I must say!) and MAYBE buy myself some DLC. The hell Sony has on me. If they ban me - okay, we have software which allows us to change our identity for PSN.

And CODK are retards.

Hm... wasn't there also a similar e-mail form $ony people got in the past when cfw 3.55 showed up?
Anyways, a banwave is always possible - that should be clear to anyone. Cheaters online are no life morons, but I'm not sure if thats truly the reason they are announcing this. And I also think playing a game online before its release it too effin stupid (like you can't wait a couple of days... SMH), but I'm pretty sure this would have happen no matter what, since they also mention piracy.
Not sure what they would gain form it... after all I think the numbers of CFW users are too small to be relevant and it not like they can increase, so why ban those who haven't cheated?
Also the License agreement and such things are utter BS and should not be allowed. I mean who takes the time to read all that crap and why do I have to agree to so much nonsense?

Fixed that for you. If everyone with CFW would just go online and use their console like a retail one while connected, then $only wouldn't give a flying F about it but there's always those couple bad apples that have to ruin it for everyone!!

Yeah they did the same thread with 3.55 and nothing came of it because they couldn't see who was CFW and who wasn't. I went online from the start with my Teensy and never got their warning letter. My mate who has always done stuff by the book got the warning email so he rang them up to have it out with them and they tried to force him to wipe his hard drive etc. He refused and they said he'd be hearing from them and of course nothing ever came of it.

That would never haven romaan .What happiness do they get from cheating on call of duty I really don't know!!!
They are just the biggest looser I can think of and I support Sony for banning these scumbags.

well Sony can only do following stuff,

1. Ban Account
2. Ban IP
3. or Ban MAC

they nothing do with your ps3
