    PS4 Will Probably be Announced Last, Says PlayStation France CEO


    There’s no denying that we are on the cusp of the next generation of gaming, but that fact apparently isn’t pressuring Sony into making any major hardware announcements in the near future. According to a statement from the head of PlayStation France, Philippe Cardone, Sony will likely be the last out of the gate yet again with its next console.

    Speaking to LePoint.fr, Cardone expressed his confidence in the legs of the PS3, pointing out that of the three major companies, Sony is under the least amount of pressure to release something new.

    It’s true that there are a lot of rumours, but I couldn’t tell you anything.

    Wii is pressed for time because it’s in decline. In our case, we have a lot less pressure. We were the last to release PS3, and we will probably be the last to announce something.
    While rumors have been circulating the web for some time regarding new hardware, Sony has time and time again refuted claims that a PS4 will be announced soon.

    i don't want ps4 console now, but i hope to have New CFW real now is better.
    It's hard for wait New Thing If the thing is free. But NOT free is easy to wait short times for use.

    I hope they announce it never. Makes no difference to me since I will never get it. Hell I didn't even buy the PS3 I have now, it was a gift. LOL

    Come to think of it, the ONLY SONY console I ever paid for was a PSP and I KNEW ahead of time that a hack was out there that would let me downgrade my PSP-1000 to 1.50 even before I ever entered the store.

    this is whats stoping me from buying a ps3 at times. Plus people say that xbox live has nothing but kids yet the dev making cfw are acting like kids fighting and not getting anything done. i only am looking now for ps3 for upcoming ffx remastered and ffxiii versus whenever it comes out
