Thread: No Sound

so. i recently reinstalled my computer (scaleo p, windows xp on it) because it didn't play any sounds. i still have the same damn prob even i have reinstallet this. I have installed all codes/drivers but no˔. what should i do?

do u have the sound icon on the bottom right part of ur screen?

if u dont then uninstall currect audio driver go to your manufacturers site and look up the driver for ur adio there.

if windows is saying there is no problems with the device, it could be an incorrect driver, or worse it could be the hardware is broken and windows did not detect it as broken,

is it onboard or a separate soundcard

what PC do you have,

Right click on My computer, Select Properties, Select Hardware tab, click Device manager,
expand sound, game and video controllers
then look for your sound card there see what it says and post it back here
