I just sent you a pm with a link to WintoFlash. It's made to do exactly what you want to. I'm a tech and I keep 4 usb drives for the real versions of windows (xp home/pro and 7 home/pro)

Other than that, have you set the usb in the boot sequence?
Does it work if you select it from the boot menu? (I think it's f11 for an msi)
does the usb boot any other computers?

Is it that the notebook won't boot the usb drive or that the usb drive doesn't seem to be bootable?
