Thread: USB hdd missing files

I just plugged in my usb hdd into my computer after a few days and my worst nightmare happened......................... 70 GB of Games on the hdd were missing

Guys plz help Just for info it is a hard drive enclosure kit with a 750 GB Toshiba HDD pre loaded and i use it for playing games on my ps2

Assuming you could see them before, that you CAN see the HDD drive letter at least, and that you've plugged in in to another usb port.
Is everything missing from the hdd or just the games? Did you enable hidden files and folders? What OS are you using?

Yes I can see the drive letter and I haven't plugged it in another port.....and not just the games are missing there were a few movies too
Also I haven't enabled hidden files and I am using windows xp sp3

Is this a ps3 drive? If it is, it's the hidden files.
