Thread: Mapping PS3 Dual Shock on ePSXe?

Hello,

I have just ran and configured ePSXe to play my psx games and everything is working great apart from not being able to map my PS3 dual shock.

I have configured my PS3 controller with motion joy and it is detected on my PC and it works with all other emulators i have tried apart from ePSXe, when i click on any of the controller settings in config and try and map the buttons the selected button goes blank.

For example, if i highlight triangle then press triangle on my controller, it shows that it has taken the map but when i release the button it disappears and is left blank.

Anybody help me out please?

You're holding the controller on an angle and the sixaxis is taking over. In motioninjoy you have it set that you're using a ps3 controller. Click that it's a ps2 controller instead. Much less annoying and works all the same.

I prefer to have it set to xbox 360 controller emulation.
it lets you use it quite well as a a game pad with most pc games.
