Thread: Need help with Oblivion GOTY install & Controller settings...

It appears that most topics here are hardware related, I'm just kinda hoping that someone may have solved these issues I'm having...

1) Ok, I downloaded Oblivion GOTY for PC.

As I am running Windows 7 x64, I was unable to install the Daemon Tools and YASU that came in the torrent. So, I installed Daemon Tools Lite 4.40.2 and successfully installed Disc 1.

So, when I tried to install the Disc 2 (the expansions), I ran YASU 1.73. It said that my virtual drives (H: and J: were successfully cloaked. So, I ran the Setup.exe on Disc 2. I got the spinning disc cursor and then the SecuRom 1000 error.

Does anyone know what to do to get Disc 2 successfully installed?

2) Ok, so I got the Logitech Cordless Precision USB Controller for the PS3. Well, I read it could be used on a PC as well. So, I brought it back, hooked it up to my PC. Ran Oblivion (only game I want to use it with) went to controller options, set the buttons to work the way the defaults on the PS3 are set.

Went back to the game, everything works EXCEPT, the right stick wont look around on menu screens. I got it to look around when moving by changinga value in the Oblivion.ini, but I dont know which value affects it when menus are up. The others are spot on (triangle = jump, R1 = attack, R2 = Cast, L1 = Block, Square = Ready Weapon, Select = Wait)

Anyone know of a way to get this working 100%? I'd prefer this solution to the second issue than the first issue if possible, cause I got Oblivion (minus the expansions) working, but really need the controller.
