Default which graphic card should i pick?

yust to say hy i am new at the scene
i relly need help in deciding since i do not know what to pick. which would give me a better gaming expiriance.
THIS ARE THE ONLY 2 options so please do not start naming something else.
not shure what would be better this one Sapphire RADEON HD 4890 OR powercolor x1950pro extreme 512mb(note there are two of them so they would be conected on my mother board together)?
so the question is one radeon hd 4890 OR two powercoler x1950pro extreme?
    REALLY NEED SOME GOOD ADVICE?

did not want to make a new thread for this

one 4890 would blow away a x1950pro in crossfire (crossfire=2 of them)

and not all games scale well in a crossfire setup

here is a list from a few years back ranking video cards at those time
there is no 4890 maybe because it was not yet released at that time
anyway, as you can see from the list, x1950pro 512mb is #90
x1900xt is at #83 so its faster than the x1950pro
    x1900xt crossfire is at #63
    4870 is at #37
and thats just a 4870, imagine what rank a faster 4890 would have
so yeah its not even close, 4890 over x1950pro xfire

    not sure about that brand
but corsair, ocz and silverstone which are also listed at that site make very good power supplies

this is a guy on xbox360iso said what do you think on that(will copy-paste)
-Out of those 2 I would personally go with the Powercolor The clock speeds are way above that Radeon u chose. I'm more of a NVidia man myself so I wouldn't personally go with either one of them but that's just because I've always bought from NVidia and trust their products.

Reading reviews you should be able to get some good gaming out of that powercolor x1950. I REALLLLLLY love the clock speeds on that one compared to the Radeon 4890

i really dont know what clocks he's referring to
that dude is, to put it bluntly, an idiot
he's an nvidia fanboy so he's never even had an ati card before
i've had both nvidia and ati videocards
i've had a pc since 1986, yeah i've been using them for 25 years lol
i dont buy pre-built cpus, i build my own

    x1950pro core clock=575, mem clock=690 yr released=2006
    hd4890 core clock=850, mem clock=1950 yr released=2009

    fear 2 1920x1200 maximum quality

    4890 = 105 frames per sec
x1950 xtx xfire = 55.5 frames per sec
