Thread: any way to get fast internet to download games?

my internet is 1.5mbps but downloads at an average of 150kbps ,is there any locations that have fast internet? like starbucks wifi?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say.......... pay for it? Seriously, you won't get super fast speeds without a wired connection, and that's usually gonna come from your home isp.

most of the time the public pc's are limited, most of them if not all of them are in the colleges i have gone to, there is a way if you dorm and know "certain" people though....

i usually get 8 to 10MB/s speeds but only with MU premium...:p

1.5 mbps = 1500 kbps = around 180-200 KBps

the reason i say this is that mb/kb is FAR different to MB/KB
for example mb = megaBIT and MB = megaBYTE
bits and bytes are very different in size.. look it up if curious

so you arent going to get much faster UNLESS you go elsewhere and leech your downloads, OR pay for a faster connection at home..

dude no pain no game

I get abot 3 mb per second Comcast. When I glitch Jdownloader, I can get 100mb+ per second, until it goes down again.

I'm paying 30$ a mo for 10 megs! There's no bandwidth limits, free ip(I can keep changing my ip at no charge) It's blazing fast, and I can download the biggest games without a problem.
