    Default laptop has a virus

    I just gota virus it says windows 7 home security has found viruses and does a scan than wants me to buy it and in IE it says cannot allow because of security on webpage but the windows 7 security that comes up looks tottaly fake and has popups saying things about virus and its only 1 account and not on the others so how can i remove this virus?

    is there a free virus removal that i dont have to buy?

    Search google for Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    Let it run and it should deystory it :D

    Try AVG also. It is free.

    thanks i tried them and removed 18 viruses and my system is back to normal i should probably keep a good virus removal program scince i never had one on my laptop

    just to be safe I would change all of your passwords... to your fileserve,filesonic, etc.. emails...fb,twitter and etc... and any credit card info if you order stuff online...I use bitdefender 2011 total security.. it works pretty good for me.. first thing I do when installing a fresh version of windows 7 is install it..

    Try Avast removal or TrendMicro online scanner. I've used them both in the past. TrendMicro found stuff others wouldn't.
