If your only problem is with the AAC codec you might wanna search and see if there is a plugin for mkv2vob and get it going. That being said I use the latest beta version of Playstation Media Server and it plays just about everything I can throw at it, although you will need a decent computer. If you still can't get things the way you like go and download ConvertXtoDVD this app will convert almost every video file you'll ever find to VOB/DVD and has added MKV and subtitle support.

cant find a plugin, if i convert it with convertxtodvd, my ps3 don't recognise the files (i convert it to a iso file and i open it with deamon tools, then i try to copy the content to my ps3 but it isn't recognized)
